The 1000+ Dream Rigs TonePack is available for three units: the Fractal Audio AX8, or the Axe-Fx Mark II/Original, or the Axe-Fx XL/XL+. This preset collection offers at least four tones for each modeled amp: clean, low, medium/rhythm, and hi-gain or lead, including additional sounds per preset for single coil guitars, plus multiple effects blocks. Designed to work for live gigs and stage use, it works great for recording too!

Check out the AustinBuddy 1000+ Dream Rigs video tutorial series covering the installation and use of this tonepack. There are over 1100 sounds in six banks, and many presets use one of 14 (or more for the Mark II/original) custom Cab IRs that you must load into specific User Cab slots.

The AX8 version of this TonePack uses your AX8’s foot-switch layout. The Axe-Fx Original/Mark II and the Axe-Fx XL or XL+ versions require you to customize your own foot controller (such as the MFC 101) to take full advantage of the available foot controller features found in the presets, such as “Kicker Coil” for single coils and “Amp Boost” as well as various effect block X/Y switching options for different sounds.

By auditioning these presets offering at least four tones for most every amp modeled, ranging from “clean to scream”, you can identify and assemble your own “Dream Rigs” for your live gigs or recording use.  Prepare to be inspired!

This product contains the following:

  • Six different Axe-Fx II/XL/XL+ or AX8 preset bank files, featuring OVER 1100 TONES IN ALL!
  • “Plug-in & play” professionally leveled and dialed-in tones to choose from almost every amp channel modeled, dialed in for live gig use.
  • Presets are logically organized by amp type and feature cleans, low gains, medium gain/rhythm, and high gains/leads for each amp.
  • Carefully matched IR Cab pairings with each amp. Many presets use one of 14 custom provided User Cab IRs (more for the Axe-FX Mark II/Original) that you must load into specific User Cab slots for the associated presets to have sound; the Dream Rigs video tutorial shows you how.
  • A basic effects blocks library is also included.
  • The AX8 version of this TonePack uses your AX8’s foot-switch layout. The Axe-Fx Original/Mark II and the Axe-Fx XL or XL+ versions require you to customize your own foot controller (such as the MFC 101) to take full advantage of the available foot controller features found in the presets, such as “Kicker Coil” for single coils and “Amp Boost” as well as various effect block X/Y switching options for different sounds that are built into the AX8 version.

This TonePack is a digital download files designed to run only on Fractal Audio System’s AX8™ or Axe-FX Mark II™ or XL or XL+.  There are no returns or refunds on digital downloads.

Applicable Texas sales tax is added for Texas residents. If you initially see sales tax included in the price shown before you do final checkout, understand it will be subtracted when you enter in your non-Texas address upon checkout.

Make sure you choose and use the right download (matching firmware version) for your Fractal hardware’s current firmware; otherwise, the preset may not sound as intended and designed, or it may appear empty!
