This preset collection offers four base tones for each Fractal modeled guitar amp: clean or low, medium/rhythm, and hi-gain or lead. While dialed in for humbuckers, scenes for single coil guitars are included, and effects blocks are sprinkled throughout.

Dialed in at stage volume and designed specifically to work for live gigs and stage use, LiveGold presets also work great for recording. These presets will help you identify and assemble your own dream guitar rig. Prepare to be inspired!

The LiveGold TonePack has three (3) bank files with 128 preset slots. Each preset has 8 scenes, featuring over 1000 tones in all!
The three banks are organized like this: Bank 1 is Marshall-style amps, Bank 2 is Fender, Class A, and Boutique amps, and Bank 3 is Modern/Metal amps and Misc. tones.
The presets are professionally designed, pre-leveled signal-wise across all presets, and ready-to-go, “plug-in and play.” LiveGold only uses the on-board Factory Cab IRs that came with your Axe-FX III, FM3, or FM9 — so you do not need to install user Cab IRs.
Please read the Release Notes and User Manual that comes with the product and view the product tutorial videos. These videos will answer most of your installation and “how do I?” questions, along with the README document and User Manual included in the zip file.
To purchase, under the “Fractal™ Model” above, you must select either the FM3, FM9, or Axe-FX III version option. Then you will be able to add LiveGold to your cart.
Note that you will still get all THREE hardware unit TonePack versions, no matter which hardware unit you choose. All three hardware LiveGold versions—Axe-FX III, FM9, or FM3—have their own subfolders in the zip file and are included in your download/purchase.
You must create a user login and password when buying, so you can access your downloads anytime — and also any future updates.
Your download zip files are found in the “Downloads” section of your created account after you complete checkout and payment is made. You may only need to download the “LATEST” dated TonePack zip file.
Any future free updates will appear in this “My Downloads” area of your account in the future, when made available.
Please view the contents of the README folder in the zip file download, and examine all documents there with instructions on how to install your TonePack, and watch the LiveGold Tutorial Videos.

AustinBuddy TonePacks are digital download files designed to run only on Fractal Audio System’s FM9™ , FM3™ or Axe-FX III™. There are no returns or refunds on digital downloads.
Applicable Texas sales tax is added for Texas residents. If you are see this sales tax in the amount before you do final checkout, you will find it will be subtracted from the total when you enter in your non-Texas address.

The Feb. 2023 LiveGold TonePack zip download was designed to run on FM9 firmware 4.01, FM3 firmware 6.01, or Axe-Fx III firmware 21.04. As of October 2023, those versions of the TonePack run fine on higher numbered firmware versions.
As of April 2024, a PARTIAL UPDATE of LiveGold’s Bank 1 – Marshall-styles – is now updated to Cygnus X3 latest firmware for the Axe-Fx III, FM9, and FM3. Later in May-June 2024 this partial update zip file will be replaced with the full update for all LiveGold banks.
You will also see prior, older firmware TonePack versions available in your “Download” account as well. Older firmware TonePack versions are kept available for those who prefer prior firmwares or tour with older presets and have not updated firmware.
You may need to scroll down in the Downloads area to identify the very LATEST dated download zip file in your “My Downloads” section of your account by date.
Make sure you choose and use the right download (matching firmware version) for your Fractal hardware’s current firmware, or else the preset may not sound as intended and designed, or it may appear empty!
