The 200+ Bass TonePack is available for the FM3, FM9, and Axe-FX III. It features over 400 bass tones in one bank, great for either recording or live playing.
AX8 and Axe-Fx Mark II/Original and Axe-Fx XL/XL+ users also can buy a legacy version of the 200+ Bass TonePack. The legacy version comes with two banks featuring over 300 bass tones.
All 200+ Bass Tonepack versions include a “basic bass amp” preset section plus an “artist-specific” style preset section.

This product contains the following:
- (FM9, FM3, or Axe-Fx III) – One bank file featuring OVER 400 TONES IN ALL!
- (AX8, Axe-Fx Mark II or XL/XL+) – Two bank files, featuring OVER 300 TONES IN ALL!
- “Plug-in & play” professionally leveled and dialed-in tones to choose from, dialed in for live gig or recording use.
- Presets are logically organized by bass amp types and feature cleans, warm tones, and gainer sounds, as well as “fingers” and “pick” options and effects.
- Carefully matched Factory IR Cab pairings with each amp, plus 14 created bass User Cab IRs to install.

Those videos will answer most of your installation and “how do I?” questions, along with the README document and User Manual included in the zip file.
You must install the provided 14 bass Cab IRs in the proper User Cab slots for this TonePack to work properly.

To purchase, under the “Fractal™ Model” above, you must select either the FM3, FM9, or Axe-FX III version option. If you own an older unit, select the Ax8, Axe-FX Mark II, or XL/XL+. Then you will be able to add 200+ Bass to your cart.
When buying for the Axe-Fx III, FM9, and FM3, you get all THREE hardware unit 200+ Bass TonePack versions, no matter which hardware unit you choose. All three hardware 200+ Bass versions for the Axe-FX III, FM9, or FM3 have their own subfolders in the zip file, and are included in your download/purchase.
However, for the older AX8, Axe-FX Mark II, and XL/XL+, the 200+ Bass TonePack is specific to each unit, and you will not get other versions.
You must create a user login and password when buying, so you can access your downloads anytime — and also any future updates.
Your download zip files are found in the “Downloads” section of your created account after you complete checkout and payment is made. You need only download the “LATEST” dated TonePack zip file.
Any future free updates will appear in this “My Downloads” area of your account when made available.
Please view the contents of the README folder in the zip file download, and examine all documents there with instructions on how to install your TonePack, and watch the 200+ Bass TonePack Tutorial Videos.

The latest 200+ Bass TonePack zip download was designed to run on FM9 firmware 4.01, FM3 firmware 6.02, or Axe-Fx III firmware 22.
As of December 2023, those versions of the TonePack run fine on higher numbered firmware versions.
The AX8 TonePack version only comes in Quantum firmware 10.01 versions, because there is no Fractal ARES firmware version made for the AX8. The Axe-Fx Mark II/Original and XL/XL+ TonePack versions were made with ARES 2.0 firmware.
You will also see prior, older firmware TonePack versions available in your “Download” account as well. Older firmware TonePack versions are kept available for those who prefer prior firmwares or tour with older presets and have not updated firmware.
You may need to scroll down in the Downloads area to identify the very LATEST dated download zip file in your “My Downloads” section of your account by date.
Make sure you choose and use the right download (matching firmware version) for your Fractal hardware’s current firmware; otherwise, the preset may not sound as intended and designed, or it may appear empty!
